Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co.   Merchant Services is the world’s leading merchant acquirer with over $1 trillion in annual transaction volume in 2016.  Business Architect
  • Understand client needs and design client journeys (focus on high-level processes) to deliver exceptional client experiences and business values
  • Identifies and architects business capabilities for the targeted client journey
 
Process Designer
  • Collaborates with the business architect develop detailed processes (maps) that deliver on the desired client experience
  • Defines responsibilities of each role, inclusive of experience and education required for the role
 
Program Manager
  • Drive program execution to deliver business values and desired outcome
  • Lead teams to develop and implement actionable solutions and remove impediments
  • Prepare the business for change and accelerate adoption
 
  • Business engineering skills – understand the business, ability to design and implement sustainable business changes
  • Agile mind set and behaviors – value people and interactions over processes and tools; value working products over comprehensive documentation; customer collaboration over customer negotiation; responding to change over following a plan
  • “T” shaped – multi-disciplined and deep expertise in one ore more areas, e.g. a business analyst who is great at business analysis and also good at project management and has strong technical skills
  • Passionate and purposeful – demonstrates passion around delivering values to our internal and external customers
  • Comfortable in ambiguity – ability to work effective in situations with high level of uncertainty and rapid changes
 
 

  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years equivalent or relevant experience required/strongly preferred
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a high-paced, Agile work environment
  • Ability to work independently and create goals and vision for delivery in ambiguous or new situations
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and insightful analytical skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and clearly articulate objectives and the required path(s) to implement new process/program
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with desire of using both in collaboration with potential partners and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent influencing-without-authority skills
  • Sense of urgency with disposition to execute and a demonstrated career of successful program implementations
  • Demonstrated experience in driving strategy within a large multi-segment organization, preferably in the payments or banking industry
  • Proven exceptional relationship building skills inside and outside the organization
  • Proven experience in working across departments, lines of business within large organizations
