“Referencing is a part of Global Data Management function housed in Mumbai, deals in serving employees in Asia Pacific & EMEA locations with respect to providing them with employment verification letters (reference letters). Referencing also conducts reference checks for ex-employees on request from external parties such as recruitment agencies, government agencies, etc. Reference letters are prepared on the basis of the request from employees. Pre-defined letter templates by the respective locations are used for the purpose of preparing a letter.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
▪ Process involves employment verification for Asia Pacific/ EMEA ex-employees on request from external parties such as recruitment agencies, govt firms and financial institutions
▪ Sort and prioritize daily requests to process and deliver letters within the SLA
▪ Ensure appropriate employee authorizations to release the requested details sourced from core HR systems
▪ Assist training other team members on the process, systems and applications as and when required
▪ Assist in regular quality check of work processed to ensure error-free processing
▪ Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed as part of process/procedure/functional enhancements
▪ Provide back up support to other Referencing team members
▪ Researches and resolves issues under the guidance of a team lead or supervisor
▪ Handles Tier 1/2 queries, Handle employee queries /escalation related to job and personal data
▪ Responsible for completing complex assignments and long term projects and coordinating related activities
▪ independently researches and resolves issues
▪ Determines root cause of errors and rework needed to correct
▪ Understand and maintain high degree of confidentiality with respect to employee data.
