CFS is a division Investor Services business and is a global industry leader with $24 trillion in assets under custody.  JP Morgan provides innovative custody, fund accounting and administration and securities services to the world's largest institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers.  JPMorgan's Custody and Fund Services business is comprised of Custody, Accounting, Transfer Agency, Middle Office outsourcing, Foreign Exchange, and other activities related to servicing assets for traditional and alternative funds; it leverages its scale and capabilities in more than 100 markets to help clients optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance revenue through a broad range of investor services as well as securities clearance, collateral management and alternative investment services.The Custody & Fund Services Onboarding Product Development team is responsible for the end-to-end definition and delivery of two complex change programs.
  • Onboarding orchestration which will  improve the end to end  oversight and automation of Client Onboarding and change
  • Entitlements  which will reengineer the client and internal user access provisioning process to improve the client experience
    The Product Development role will lead the design and delivery of key aspects of the strategic delivery, leveraging firm-wide capabilities to implement efficient and competitive solutions.  The individual will strategize and deliver on the product development roadmap, partner with teams on the operational model and drive change aligned to the roadmap. 
    The role requires a dynamic individual who is able to take ownership of various components of these programs of work, carrying out detailed analysis and in depth program management. This will   involve, understanding & documentation how each system currently manages onboarding and/or entitlements, the existing processes followed for configuration and mapping to the provisioning tool.  System and Process gaps will need to be identified and closed as we move to standard operating model across all services.
    This role is will be client focused and provides exposure to different areas of Custody & Fund Services, with ownership of tangible deliverables, and an opportunity to develop key subject matter expertise.

    Key Responsibilities
  • E2E Delivery Planning and Product development
  • Lead the strategic Onboarding and Entitlements program through the full project life cycle, including strategy, analysis, design of the client experience and service model, and testing / migration of the components for delivery
  • Process mapping/modelling for revised entitlements target operating model
  • Analysis of end-client requirements
  • Analysis of complex system attribute covered by existing entitlement model across Investor Services products and systems 
  • Day to day management of migration and remediation’s undertaken
  • Program management
  • Assume the product owner role (Agile methodology) to manage the execution of Entitlement-related workstreams from scope planning to go-live based on agile methodology including ABC (Accelerated Business Case) phase planning, backlog grooming, stories definition and sprint/iteration planning including stakeholder and executive stakeholder meeting for status and actions
  • Write and provide sign-off on Business Requirement documents ensuring that any proposed solution as been syndicated with the relevant parties prior to implementation
  • Perform role of POP (Product Owner Proxy) on cross functional scrum huddles across the sub streams
  • Proactive escalation of issues/risk in partnership with operations and technology
  • Client Onboarding and Process optimization
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, presenting them to management and helping to affect change
  • Day to day management of migration and remediation’s as appropriate
  • Qualifications
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand data attributes and their usage in detail and draw structured conclusions
    • Disciplined approach to control  and process management
    • Strong project management capabilities. Certification in one of the program management skills is a plus
    • Ability to analyze business models/practices and identify innovative solutions
    • Understanding of agile and be able to perform basic Product Owner.
    • Track record of partnership across multiple stakeholders
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-starter and able to prioritize effectively.
    • Experience in process flow analysis/mapping is a plus
    Academic Background
    • Bachelors in engineering, finance or mathematics
    • Exposure to process modelling and basic statistics
    • Exposure to innovative technologies and analytics
    Industry Knowledge – Required
    • Industry experience: experience working in Financial services with specific experience in Global Markets, Custody, Fund Services, Securities Lending, Collateral Management or Prime Brokerage
