FIRS External Reporting is the first Global, centralized, scalable and sustainable reporting and analytics Operations in the Finance organization. We focus on Data Integrity, Report preparation for the US Federal Government & Securities Exchange Commission and provide production oversight to measure progress and continuously improve our end product.   • Provide BAU operational support for Automated Strategic Attestation Platform (ASAP) Tool:
    • Support  mailbox management, responding and actioning email queries as per the agreed SLAs
    • Assist in quarterly affirmation and attestation processes  inclusive of communicating reminders and properly escalating issues/concerns to corresponding teams
    • Prepare and deliver reporting and metrics around ASAP activities
    • Collaborating across geographies with multiple stakeholders to process change requests and onboarding new users and reports under External Reporting Accountability Framework
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts/enhancements around external reporting processes/tools
  • Provide strong technical support and Microsoft support to the team lead.
This role requires strong operational skills to support multiple diverse processes within defined timelines while maintaining procedural and control discipline. The role provides exposure to various LOBs and Functions and provides an opportunity for the individual to partner with Corporate External Reporting teams and Line of Business/functional Controller teams.
Qualifications and skill sets:
The candidate for this position must have the following qualifications and skill set to perform this role:
  • Graduate in Accounting or Business/Finance related field
  • Ability to work effectively in an independent setting as well as part of a Virtual/Global team
  • Self Starter with an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; including strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Responsive to a dynamic and constantly changing environment
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills should be able to interact with business partners independently.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Application Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Candidate should be flexible with the shift timings (Asia/UK/US timings)
