Global Supplier Services (GSS) brings together Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team.  This group of nearly 800 employees (in 11 countries) manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement. The GSS team works proactively with Line of Business (LOB) colleagues to identify capable suppliers, lead the competitive sourcing process and negotiate contracts with selected suppliers.  Leveraging firm-wide buying power and controlling risk are consistent overarching goals.  GSS then ensures that the contracted goods and services can be obtained by our employees in an efficient, cost-effective manner globally.
The Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) is a centralized group within GSS responsible for supplier policy management and the Third Party Oversight Program.  The CTPO Governance group provides the governance framework and support to the Regions in order to be aligned with the Third Party Oversight Policies and Standards as well as to local regulatory environment.

As an member of the Governance team within CTPO, your primary responsibility will be to support forward looking strategy for the function and support the direction of the overall Governance & Regulatory Engagement program. You will play a supporting role in improving the governance and exam management process and improving the project management, reporting, communications, and alignment.


  • Monitor and Support internal and external Exams activity which involve TPO;
  • Understand and monitor the Third Party Risk Management regulatory environment;
  • Support CTPO projects implementation and training for the regional teams;
  • Partner with global FTPMO team and provide back up to other TPMO members as required
  • Develop detailed responses related to regulators or internal auditors Request for Information related to the TPO Program
  • Perform mapping of regulatory or compliance frameworks against the current TPO Program and prioritize any gaps identified with process enhancements
  • Participate in internal leadership forums with various stakeholders Technology, Compliance, Legal, Sourcing, Cyber, and CTPO teams to understand forward looking agenda and adapt the program to accommodate future demands
  • Identify opportunities for improving third party risk posture in line with regulator expectations
  • Influence technology direction and develop requirements for supporting the third party risk management process, tools and integration in CTPO program
  • Support internal education and best practices sharing with peers and colleagues, as well as third party education & awareness, as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in regional outsourcing governance to deliver increasing operational efficiency in the processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience in Finance, Sourcing, TPO, Risk, Oversight & Control, Vendor Management, or related roles
  • Outstanding listening and negotiation skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator at all levels.
  • Excellent business judgment, particularly the ability to proactively identify and address issues early, performing root cause analysis to develop long term solutions
  • Strong business analysis skills to enable efficient, accurate and objective decision making
  • Ability to partner closely with related functions (Sourcing, Legal & Compliance, Audit, etc.) to ensure a coordinated and effective program
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Knowledge of risk management and control principles
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the corporate Sourcing and standard TPO systems is preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational, research and ability to multitask
  • Build strong stakeholder engagement model to promote the TPO program across the region
  • Change Management:  ability to drive change with management direction but without having to be prescribed to
  • Project Management:  ability to develop, plan and execute projects and create remediation plans and actions with timely updates to management
  • Advanced proficient in the use of the Visio and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel/Power Point)
  • Language skills: English (required)
