Job Description:

Global Security and Investigations (GS&I) provides protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of the firm, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, security guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, security operations globally, and fraud Investigations.


Corporate Sector F&BM is seeking an Associate role based in New Jersey as part of the Business Management team to support GS&I.


The candidate is responsible for supporting activities to meet strategic organizational goals and the many tasks that are critical to the efficient and effective operation of GS&I. The Business Manager optimizes the business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. The candidate will provide project management, advanced metrics, data management and consolidation, and financial analysis support to the Business Management team as it partners with various GS&I teams and other areas of the firm to provide transparency around the processes and expenses. Core activities associated with the position include the following:

  • Develop presentation materials for various audiences including senior management
  • Plan, track and report on financials, headcount and key metrics. Review and analyze trends and provide commentary for primary drivers and variances to senior management.
  • Support the team with preparation and execution of annual budget planning and monthly forecasting
  • Work closely with partners in HR, Finance and Technology and other internal functions
  • Lead and contribute to key projects, including strategic, control, technology and expense related initiatives
  • Analyze, develop and propose enhancements to current business processes, reports, and applications in order to optimize effectiveness
  • Oversee investment and productivity initiatives

  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline – accounting or finance preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of personal initiative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with the ability to create concise communication materials for senior management
  • Advanced analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills; able to develop, clearly present and draw conclusions
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
