Job Description:
Duties: Provide 24/7 on call support for production systems and applications. Monitor status of applications. Monitor of infrastructure, servers, databases, and distributed batch jobs. Respond to service requests from internal teams involved in daily client interaction, operations, and control partners. Troubleshoot technical issues with operating systems. Work with technology teams to provide sustainable solutions for operating systems. Coordinate incident management coverage, including coordination during critical outages. Provide documentation and analysis of technical issues to the management team. Provide advice to technology leads across organizations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues. Interface with groups affected by outages to better manage coverage. Assess operating system glitches to provide guidance to all staff and vendors to coordinate an effective approach.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Production Support Executive, IT Consultant or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with Batch scheduling; Zeke; Ab Initio; client server technology; database technology; incident management methodologies, systems, and tools; working with geographically distributed and cross functional work groups; banking or financial services industry; Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; File Transfer Protocols FTP, SFTP, File Mover, and NDM; Monitoring tools including Splunk, Wily, and JCL; XML; XSD; Oracle; Server Wintel; Web logic; WebSphere; Mainframe; and UNIX.
