For the role of Scrum Master, we are seeking an individual who believes in leadership by example rather than by dictate and who knows that people are the key component to success.  Someone not afraid to deal with conflict head-on, who knows when it is good to say “No” and when it is better to push for more results.
 
We are less concerned about what it’s called (Scrum/Kanban/XP) and much more excited about results, continuous improvement and the pursuit of perfection.  We are looking for someone that shares these values and is excited to work with us to push themselves and our team to the next level.
 
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a Scrum Master or related role in an environment that was applying Agile principles, practices and theory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
  • Experience with incremental delivery and the value of big visible metrics.
  • Experience with backlog refinement, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
  • Exposure to patterns/techniques for overcoming methodology gaps (such as): User Stories, Planning Poker, Information Radiators, Retrospective Games, Distributed Teams, etc.
  • Exposure to Agile engineering practices (such as):  Pair Programming, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc.
  • Strong commitment to learn and collaborate with senior technologists in the organization to drive continuous improvements at both the team and personal levels.
