Business Architecture and Reengineering (BA&R) is a dedicated team of project and client facing resources focused on large scale change initiatives to address Industry, Client and Business requirements across the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). The group provides a unique mix of project skills and product experience that are not tied to a specific business enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute change across the firm.
Digital Ops sits within the (BA&R) group and is committed to the digital transformation of operations, leading at the forefront in data driven decision making and the adoption of emerging technologies. Our goal is to partner with technology/product owners to understand the opportunities available in the market and deliver value to our operations teams and clients.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The team is looking for a highly driven Business Analyst with prior experience in the Financial Services industry to join the group and deliver on numerous key streams that will enable the successful delivery of the program’s objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for key business analysis and aspects of the end to end project lifecycle including, but not limited to:
Working with Operations, Technology and Intelligent Solutions to define key actions & ensure they track to execution
Deriving insights from data into actionable recommendations/strategies to present stakeholders at all levels
Producing & maintaining project and reporting documentation
leading/participating in meetings
providing continuous feedback on project status
functioning as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest possible time;

We are looking for a motivated, high performing individual with a strong strategic mind set with experience in either an Operations or Technology based environment within the financial services industry.
- Strong business analysis skills along with expertise in project management discipline and techniques
Ability to think strategically and understand the bigger picture
Passion for the latest in emerging technologies & how we could apply these to operations
- Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
- Working business knowledge of one or more areas of the Corporate and Investment Bank
- Proven track record within a Business Analyst and/or change management function is critical
- Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Project, expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams outside of and interact with all levels; excellent interpersonal skills
- Logical, structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision-making
- Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across multiple aspects of the organization at all levels; confidence in communicating with management
