Job Description:
The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (“CCBSI”) group is part of Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase and focuses on U.S. and Canadian companies typically with revenues of over $500mm which requires traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products.
 
The CCBSI Financial Analysis Manager will be responsible for supporting Planning and Analysis (P&A) function for all aspects around Treasury Services business. Responsibilities for this role will include analyzing and reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning. The candidate will support the CCBSI P&A lead, in addition to working closely with each of the CCBSI sub-LOB finance leads, product CFOs, Business management and controller team. The role reports to the CCBSI P&A lead and interacts on a regular basis with colleagues in Commercial Bank Finance and Business Management
 
Responsibilities
  • In charge of overall Treasury Services (TS) reporting and analysis with in depth understanding of product and liquidity performance:
    • Perform monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reporting of Treasury Services results, including production of consolidated TS Executive Management Report
    • Partner with TS Product CFO team and CB Treasury to analyze monthly and quarterly product and liquidity results and provide financial analysis that highlights the key drivers and dependencies impacting results, including sales ramp, pipeline, and rates
    • Partner with Business Management team to review sales pipeline and assess risk and opportunities to appropriately forecast new acquired sales metric and adjust forecast accordingly
    • Responsible for coordinating TS KPI metrics
    • Coordinate with Deposit Pricing & Analytics team with deposit portfolio and pricing analysis
    • Assist with various ad-hoc analysis and presentations during month and quarter-ends
 
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a track record of execution against deliverables
  • Prior experience preferred in P&A/finance focused on Treasury products
  • A keen business acumen and an ability to tell the compelling story from the data
  • Creative self-starter with strong initiative and ability to take ownership and work independently as well as contribute to the broader team
  • Strong work ethic, professional maturity, personal integrity
  • Highly organized and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and pay attention to details
  • Strong judgment, fact based, and has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required. Advanced degree or certification desired
  • 6-8  years of relevant Finance experience (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, PitchPro and Hyperion Essbase
