The Macro Operations business covers FX, Rates, and Commodities.  And as a result of the diverse product scope the business is a challenging, fast-paced area of growth within an ever changing regulatory environment.  As a key member of the Controls team, this role will be responsible for contributing to production activities for reporting & analytics across the complete suite of products. The role within the group is responsible for helping to manage the metrics and reporting control processes and identifying and leading improvement and change programs.  The team leverages both interactions with risk managers, the business and technology with the goal of improving end to end risk management and transparency.
In addition to helping to facilitate achievement of core control priorities, the scope of this role will be primarily focused on running our day to day, end to end reporting operations as well as pro-actively engaging in delivering increased efficiency, productivity and value enhancement analysis.  This role will require in depth analysis of the current metric and reporting processes within various departments and covering multiple products. Coordination among line of business subject matter experts, operational risk managers, and technology developers will be necessary to maintain as well as enhance our teams reporting deliverables. The role would additionally require developing future business requirements, executing UAT test cases, performing data validations/reconciliations and managing multiple projects, priorities, requests and deliver inline with senior management expectations. 
 
 Key responsibilities
We are looking for a Production Reporting and Metrics Business Analyst within the Macro Operations Control team. The following areas of responsibility are required:
  • Help in the management and administration of current state reporting and production processes. 
  • Running our day to day reporting operations including but not limited to: the delivery of all our daily, weekly, monthly reports as well as other adhoc reports and analysis; monitor and analyze control findings and trends.  Summarize finding and insights across all management levels.
  • Lead all related analytic, reporting and technology efforts; manage project lists; design and develop dashboards, scorecards, controls and reporting
  • Data & Business Analysis to deliver clear improvements in metrics data sourcing and production (efficiency, productivity & control).
  • Reviewing control and performance indicators, analyzing trends and reporting of issues/errors/breaches
  • Proactive participation in planning and delivery of technology & process efficiencies.
  • Help monitor the control environment surrounding all technical, financial and operational processes, ensuring production control procedures are followed and appropriately evidenced.
  • Assist in oversight and coordination of key process control tests, including the collation and reporting of test results and the development and implementation of enhancements where necessary.
  • Potential to work with Operations management, and relevant stakeholders to conduct self-assessments, and develop action plans to remediate control gaps.
  • Work with Operations management, and relevant stakeholders to investigate incidents/errors, perform root cause analysis, identify recommended solutions, providing reporting to senior management, and track solution implementation.
  • Active participation in team project planning, milestone and deliverable management.
  • Ability to escalate and communicate effectively
  • Team and flexible mindset in partnering and solution finding, and abilty to leverage best practices 
  • Coordinate changes to data hierarchies, templates, and all downstream reports in multiple environments.
  • Perform UAT, conduct training and coordinate timely rollouts.
  • Identify production issues and partner with users and developers to determine appropriate solution and ensure quick resolution.
Produce adhoc status analytics for Senior Management as needed
Qualifications 
Successful candidates must be self sufficient, proactive, detailed oriented and able to define requirements, perform analysis, create reports and communicate insights as demonstrated in prior roles.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Financial services experience with a focus on Business Management, Control and Reporting preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written), preference for Portuguese proficiency as well.
  • Advanced experience and comfort using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Sharepoint)
  • Self-motivation; Self-starter, independent worker, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to different audience levels
  • Well organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills required
  • Ability to to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment; comfortable re-prioritizing workload as needed, adaptability to changing priorities
  • Possess excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, including an ability to influence and negotiate; comfortable interacting with cross-line of business partners
  • Prior Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing experience preferred
  • Identify production issues and partner with users and developers to determine appropriate solution and ensure quick resolution.
  • Produce adhoc status analytics for Senior Management as needed.
