Job Description:

GTI Finance & Business Management provides support services to the core Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) group. The Global Product & Services Planning team, within GTI F&BM, provides governance, analysis and structure around the products and services provided by GTI to all Lines of Business (LOBs).

 
Responsibilities include:
  • Managing Total Cost of Ownership product calculation and product margin through use of industry standard tool sets (i.e. ITBM, Apptio, vRealize)
  • Delivering annual product and pricing changes end-to-end including introduction/retirement of products and analyzing the impact to customers (LOBs)
  • Delivering the annual benchmarking process including collaboration with an external benchmark provider, analyzing results, and presenting to the senior executives firm-wide
  • Providing ongoing governance, financial best practices and guidance to IT management
  • Cost modeling the creation of new products and providing annual pricing guidance for all products in the product area
  • Enabling product strategy development and business decisions
  • Managing the Cost Model and partnering with product owners to support product financials and monthly reporting
  • Analyzing cost and consumption information and providing commentary for monthly presentations to IT senior management along with engaging with product owners from each business unit
  • Collaboration with cross functional teams across Corporate Finance, IT and LOBs to ensure thorough product reviews, changes and implementation throughout the product lifecycle    

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in business and/or financial management
  • Minimum 3 years experience with data mining/gathering and manipulation
  • Minimum 3 years advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum 5 years financial planning, forecasting and investment planning & management
Preferred Skills: 
  • Cost modeling or activity based costing experience preferred 
  • Strong technology, industry standard tool set experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork ability
  • Strong listening, presentation, communication and influencing skills
  • Strong global exposure and operation experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong operational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate outside organization to obtain goals
  • Background supporting key management decisions with clear and concise data analysis
  • Knowledge of Apptio TBM tools preferred
  • Essbase or other planning module experience
  • Experience benchmarking technology costs across industry competitors
