Risk Management, under the direction of the firm’s CRO, provides a firmwide independent function for the management of risk. One of the firm’s top priorities continues to be strengthening its risk and control environment. The Finance & Risk CFO organization complements this mission by providing a stringent governance and control framework, as well as strategic business support across Finance, Risk and Technology. Reporting into the Risk CFO, the Risk Governance and Planning team is responsible for producing Board and Operating Committee (OC) level-presentations, and providing business management support for various Firmwide Risk related initiatives, including the implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) within day-to-day processes across the organization.

 

As part of the ongoing effort to enhance efficiency and productivity, the Risk Management organization has established the Firmwide Risk Robotics Center of Excellence (CoE). This team was created to support the Risk organization in automating manual processes leveraging Robotics software.  Sitting in the center, the CoE interfaces with internal clients (cross-LOB firmwide Risk functions and LOB Risk teams) to source ideas / opportunities for Robotics, run functional and technical feasibility analyses to translate ideas into use cases, and partner with the Corporate Technology team to deliver tangible solutions.

 

The CoE is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of RPA; from idea generation and evaluation, to technical delivery, implementation, and business integration. The team is seeking a strong Associate with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects, executing against detail-oriented process improvements, and engaging with senior level stakeholders.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with peers across Corporate / LOB Risk teams to map and document the implementation process for projects related to Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
  • Proactively manage progress, delivery and overall execution of multiple projects at different stages of development; report on status, risks / issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure successful completion
  • Review project pipeline and schedules with senior management and team members
  • Prepare updates on project pipeline, progress and metrics for Senior Risk Management executives
  • Provide thought leadership on strategy and change management
  • Support various other ad-hoc activities across Firmwide Risk Management 


 

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or management consulting
  • Bachelor’s degree required (focus on Information Technology / Computer Science a plus)
  • Clear interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • High degree of organizational capability and diligence to simultaneously work on multiple deliverables
  • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools
  • Prior experience in risk management related business, or client facing work
  • Software knowledge of Softomotive’s WinAutomation / Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus
