Position Summary:

The North American (NA) TS Financial Institutions Sales Executive manages the sales team responsible for delivering cash management solutions to NA clients in the bank and non-bank financial institutions space doing business globally.  This role is responsible for driving proactive partnerships with the Global Corporate Bank, Global Investment Bank, Treasury Services Product groups, Commercial Bank and other functional partners to drive commercial value and deliver financial goals within a strong risk & control framework.  It reports into the Global Head of Treasury Services Financial Institutions Sales and is based in New York City.  

 
Core Responsibilities:
 
Business Results
  • Drive the overall strategy for the NA TS FI/NBFI client franchise including coverage model, client targeting and financial goals

  • Proactively engage corporate bankers to optimize lending relationships and client returns through TS wallet share growth

  • Drive TS strategic account planning, aligning efforts with overall TS business objectives 

  • Identify emerging treasury challenges and provide strategic input to shape the TS innovation/investment agenda by product and globally

  • Drive and manage the team to deliver against financial budgets/targets

 Client/Customer Focus
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify cash management needs that align with JPMorgan's full suite of TS products and solutions globally

  • Drive the development of forward looking business plans and strategic call strategies for clients along with TS sales and corporate bankers globally

  • Drive a client centric  coverage model, coordinating with TS product partners, Corporate Bankers and Investment Bank Client Executives

  • Drive client mindshare and thought leadership around TS Solutions and the forward innovation agenda through strategic marketing and client events

  • Serve as a senior focal point for strategic client discussions and escalations

 Teamwork & Leadership
  • Manage a team of diverse TS Sales people to high levels of performance and client satisfaction

  • Develop proactive relationships with North American corporate FI and NBFI bankers

  • Proactively build and drive collaborative firm wide relationships with TS product and other relevant partners (Compliance, GFCC, Risk, Legal, BCO, HR)

  • Market and showcase marquee TS deals and success stories to the Global TS teams

  • Proactively drive talent management holistically including business justified investments, mobility, and succession planning

Risk & Control
  • Ensure individual and team compliance with all applicable regulations and required training for TS FI and NBFI sales activities

  • Objectively represent client issues at monthly AML committee reviews as needed

  • Objectively represent the TS FI/NBFI Sales organization at CDMC meetings

  • Manage/meet the required regulatory deliverables for KYC including new business, remediation and renewal


Requirements: 
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services
  • Knowledge of Treasury Services and Sales is a must
  • Successful track record of driving new business development and senior relationship management
  • Highest level of integrity and good judgment, with the ability to effectively deal with highly sensitive, confidential information
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and commitment, as well as a strong business sense with a strategic, conceptual orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people including coaching, recruiting and retaining
  • Experienced manager with strong leadership scores
  • Strong commercial judgment -  excellent communication and influencing abilities        
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, Masters or MBA degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of J.P. Morgan’s processes and products is preferred.
  • Flexibility for regular travel globally
