Job Description:
The Role:
The person will be responsible to understand the business problem and provide implementable solutions through statistical analysis. Projects range from enhancing customer experience, escalation management, and demand management to talent management or retention analysis. The role will require providing thought leadership on multiple projects simultaneously within MIS and Analytics domain.
  • Lead MIS & Reporting for cross site HR functions in India,Phillipines and US.
  • Partner with cross site Operations and HR leaders in CCB India and CCB Global (US) to identify solutions to the trending problem areas through advanced analytics
  • Contribute to data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
  • Work with business domain experts and application developers to identify data relevant for analysis
  • Provide and apply quality assurance best practices for data mining/analysis services.
  • Develop new analytical methods and/or tools as required.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with data preparation and processing such as assessment of data quality, new variable creation, variable selection, etc. 
  • Provide support for culture change initiatives across CCB Ops, in an effort to create a continuous improvement mindset  
  • Integrate disparate performance and feedback channel data to develop a more informed view of manager effectiveness, across Tech, Ops and Digital
  • Conduct advanced analytics of CCB Code of Conduct violation data to identify themes and recommend potential remediation tactics
  • Bachelor /Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics or mathematics
  • 7+ years analytics experience in Operations and HR area preferably in Banking domain
  • Retail Banking and Credit Card domain knowledge is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and output to non-experts in both a written and verbal manner
  • Exceptional business insight and strategic orientation
  • Critical thinking skills in formulating hypotheses, interpreting results, and being able to make educated guesses when data may be sparse or unavailable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of predictive modeling tools such as SAS, SPSS, etc           
  • Experience in Tableau is preferred
