BA / Project Manager – Risk & Forecasting
Risk & Forecasting Solutions (RFS) group is responsible for calculating risk and providing forecasting solutions for a broad range of businesses and products across JPMorgan.  Our business problem can be summarized as: building highly efficient, scalable, and maintainable applications that are designed to source, aggregate and handle complex calculations and performing analytics / reporting on this data for key stakeholders. Besides the technical complexity, our domain is also equally complex that spans across Front Office Middle Office, Quantitative Research Teams, Risk Managers, and numerous other entities within the firm.
 
Our group partners with Business team in supporting and delivering various regulatory requirements as well Business team specific systems. To drive and support various initiatives, we are looking for a very strong Business Analyst / Project Manager who can be part of this exciting journey.
 
Job Description
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will be responsible for driving multiple engagements for multiple stakeholders of different business teams. The role requires holding initial discussions to understand business problem / scope of requirement and identifying all Business / IT / Operations stakeholders to be involved in the project. The role also requires playing PM role to own end to end delivery of projects and ability to discuss / understand any Business / Technical / Operational / Logistical issues that may arise time to time. This role is a mix of PM, influencing, Analysis and collaboration. The role will require performing tasks like:
  1. Manage E2E delivery of a broad set of initiatives by working with stakeholders across business and technology.
  2. Keep Senior Management and all stakeholders updated on the progress and status of the all the milestones across initiatives.
  3. Drive and Influence decisions to achieve project success.
  4. Manage relations with senior stakeholders across both business and technology.
  5. Work with Business / IT teams to develop and drive requirements related to project.
 
 
Preferred Skills /  Qualifications:
    1. 5-10 years of experience as Project Manager with experience in managing IT projects and coordinating with teams across different time zones using a detailed project plan.
    2. 5-10 years of strong BA experience in Banking Domain , exposure to Risk Technology is highly desirable.
    3. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders of both Business and IT teams at different levels.
    4. Ability to work on multiple small to medium size engagements with PM / BA activities with attention to detail, multi-tasking and pro-active approach.
    5. Strong verbal / written communication skills to be able to articulate issues and resolve road blocks.
    6. Proficiency with MS office tools including MS Project, MS Power Point.
    7. M.B.A (finance) qualification preferred.
