The Corporate Technology (CT) organization develops applications and provides technology
support for corporate functions across JPMorgan Chase, including Global Finance, Corporate
Treasury, Risk Management, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, and all functions within the
Corporate Administrative Office (CAO).  The RQD (Risk Quantitative Development) IT Organization has responsibility for implementation of Retail financial models in credit, collections, fraud, and regulatory reporting, as well as providing firm-wide model governance systems, and analytical environments for business analysts and model developers.
 
The Risk Quantitative Development (RQD) Model Implementation team helps modelers implement their models into production.  Our activities include perform hands-on coding of production-ready SAS modeling code to convert then in Python so that it can be implemented in Common Model Deployment System (CMDS). This team is also responsible for validating output of models with modeling team before it can be implemented in production environment. Other functionalities include creating reports like PROC Means, PSI, Characteristic Report and various other control reports in conjunction with reporting and modeling team.
The Model Remediation Project (MRP) is a three-year effort to bring all Risk and Finance Models into alignment with the guidance provided by the Federal Reserve in SR11-7.  As part of this effort, RQD will be creating a consistent set of rigorous controls along with a fast-track implementation process for delivery to production of newly designed models.
The candidate will be part of Corporate Technology, Risk Quantitative Development (RQD) strategic team that drives target state architecture design and implementation of the highly scalable and component based UI & Reporting framework and solution to support Model Execution System and supporting functions and reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with UI Architect and implement highly scalable and component based UI & Reporting framework using new technologies and solution to support Model Execution System and supporting functions and reporting.
  • Analyze business requirements in order to design the UI mockups and reporting projects
  • Work as a key tableau developer in reporting team in a high-pressured delivery environment
  • Participate in development, Document design and deployment strategy for Reporting projects being developed
  • Working with Web administrators, users, and other development team to manage enhancements and issues
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in the IT with strong DB development, UI & Reporting design and development
  • Strong understanding of BI tools and associated technologies
  • Background in Financial industry/banking is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge on creating Reports/Dashboards using Tableau
  • Very good analytical skills and ability to handle complete Report development life cycle - Design, Development, Testing and Deployment.
  • Proficient knowledge on Creating visualizations, Publishing Workbooks/Data Sources, creating and using Extract Data Sources
  • Strong knowledge on using tableau LOD calculations and Parameters
  • Good understanding of Site Roles, Tableau Server environment and Managing Content Permissions
  • Basic knowledge on Portal Integration and other Tableau Resources such as Tableau REST API/Java Script API is extra advantage
  • Strong SQL writing skills. Hands on experience in connecting and using any RDBMS/Hive/Impala as a Data source.
  • Knowledge on Hadoop Eco system is added advantage
  • Expertise in managing conflicting priorities under pressure and ability to influence technology partners without authority.
  • Agile SDLC delivery experience is strongly preferred.

  • Attention to detail and ability to assimilate fragmented facts into a detailed problem statement
  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
  • Excellent  communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
