The JPM Global FX Options business is amongst the leading FX derivatives businesses in the market. We provide bespoke hedges and trading strategies for a broad range of clients and market participants, and manage the risks associated with this liquidity provision.

 

Opportunity

An opening has arisen for a VP to join the business in a structuring/exotic specialist role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service global FXO and FX structured products franchise with pricing, solutions and execution.

  • Work closely with the senior flow traders on portfolio risk, and p/l management.

  • Partner with other stakeholders (sales, quantitative research, technology and control functions) to grow the franchise, improve efficiency and conduct business according to firm policy.

  • Develop own views on pricing/risk management and be able to challenge the status quo of thought.

Requirements

  • Analytically and quantitively strong, a tenacious work ethic, with an interest in markets.

Essential skills

  • Robust analytical, numerical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to make sense of abstract concepts and form logical conclusions from disorderly information and communicate them
  • Excellent time management skills

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
