JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services (TS) moves, concentrates and invests cash and provides trade finance and logistics solutions to support the needs of corporations, government entities, financial institutions and middle market companies. Treasury Services has operations in 41 countries around the world and in 40 states in the U.S.

 

An experienced Sales Relationship Officer is required to increase revenue from existing clients and through the acquisition of new business from Financial Institutions and Non Bank Financial Institutions. To succeed, he/she will need to be business focused, work closely with internal resources such as product, implementation, credit and other stakeholders.

 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Sales of the entire product suite including core cash clearing, liquidity and  foreign exchange solutions
  • Maintain existing portfolio of clients and account planning
  • Proactive identification & solicitation of new names with the focus on delivering new business revenue
  • Provide relationship management coverage for key clients including the development of multiple contacts at head office level
  • Build successful relationships with internal lines of businesses to maximize revenue growth with potential clients
  • Take charge in the preparation and submission of RFPs (i.e. coordinating the deal team, ensuring deadlines are met, etc)
  • Timely completion of client call reports & KYC compliance requirements
  • Active participation in internal & external industry sessions
  • Liaison with the account management, solution centre & operations team to execute timely and efficient resolution of client-related issues that are escalated to the sales team
  • Gather market intelligence on client / client needs / new markets / competition
  • Assist in the implementation process of on-boarding new clients including deal manager / RTI inputs
  • Work with internal partners e.g. product, implementation, operations and customer services, legal units
  • Work with other banking partners e.g. investment bank, credit & rates, asset management and others
  • Be willing to take on account responsibility as knowledge and skills increase

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years transaction banking experience, preferably client facing.
  • Excellent in inter-personal skills and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Works in a team environment at appropriate times
  • Excellence in verbal and writing skills
  • Able to think flexibly and learns fast
  • Good time management, organization and planning skills
