Our Team

The EMEA Strategic Program Group is a project management team, focusing on defining strategy, solutions and plans to manage change initiatives impacting the Wealth Management Business.  Our Initiatives are both regulatory and business driven, focusing on business improvement, growth, expansion and enhanced controls.  The team works cross-functionally with product specialists, front office advisors, business management, legal, risk management, compliance, operations, technology, middle office and marketing. 


The Vice President will support the development, implementation and on-going support of projects that meet the strategic vision of the Business.  You will perform detailed analyses and define feasibility plans, coordinate delivery of results across different teams and departments, manage and report progress through project plans and other reporting tools, and drive the implementation of business solutions and change management initiatives. The size and duration of each project will vary but the objectives will focus on similar key aspects such as risk mitigation, process efficiency, technology enablement and business metrics reporting. The candidate needs to have the mind-set to integrate into an internal management consulting team.


The Role

  • Developing and  supporting project plans including updates for management  
  • Managing project workstreams and all associated activities to support the global implementation of the program: create process flows, business requirements, and status reporting for various workstreams across the program
  • Ensuring the development of end-to-end operating model that works toward regional and global consistency
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in the Private Bank to develop, review and maintain procedures for front office, control and support function
  • Working with Legal, Compliance & Risk Management to identify and address areas of risk & regulatory exposure
  • Supporting the global team to develop systems and standards for business and senior management reporting
  • Supporting the Program team to implement business solutions, measuring the effectiveness of the solution and identifying ways to improves processes and products
  • Interfacing with control functions, business managements and technology to ensure successful delivery of the Program

 

  • Experience in Private Banking or Asset Management, including strong familiarity with regulatory practices
  • Project management experience in a disciplined execution focused environment, proven track record of delivery
  • Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills, be able to work independently showing initiative and problem solving
  • Ability to engage with various parties to discuss implications of new regulatory requirements and business impact, with an understanding of financial services regulatory environment in Europe
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfort in working with different audiences and ability to develop effective partnerships with key business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to articulate complex ideas, concepts and solutions at a level appropriate and intelligible to the recipient
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think on their feet and be able to apply critical thinking and logical/structured framework to situations such as business case development and issue resolution
  • Works independently to document the steps and requirements in order to create procedures and training according to Bank policy, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio; Experience in process flow analysis/mapping
  • Be a team player who is flexible,  and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance on high demand/time-sensitive initiatives
