Job Description:
Duties: Deliver technical designs and code for new and existing web-based applications. Assist with analysis, architecture, design, development, coding, and code review for application components. Provide support to development teams during all phases of Agile Development Lifecycle (ADLC). Assist with IT Quality Controls and utilize test driven development methodologies. Responsible for technical team’s deliverables in all phases of the development lifecycle. Keep abreast of new technology and methods to optimize development for the enterprise. Maintain compliance with IT change management, Security, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and development standards, and review implementation plans. Perform software troubleshooting and monitoring functions.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Associate (IT), Product Analyst, Software Engineer/Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Associate (IT), Product Analyst, Software Engineer/Developer, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with at least three (3) of the following JavaScript frameworks: LESS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Require.JS, Ractive.JS, Jasmine, Chai Mocha, or SinonJS. This position also requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: developing secure IT solutions; performing design, code, and code review to ensure successful analysis, architecture, design, development, and code review for application components; industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development; object-oriented (OO) programming technologies (such as Java/J2EE or .NET); JSON, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax; Angular.JS or Knockout.JS; MVC design patterns and implementations; development tools including GIT, SVN, SourceTree, Gulp, Stash, Bitbucket, and Jenkins; code management and review tools including Fisheye, Crucible, and Sonar; application frameworks including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security; service-oriented architecture (SOA) including REST- and SOAP-based services using JSON and XML responses; testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or any other equivalent testing frameworks; Hibernate; Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or any other equivalent ORM database; web and application servers including Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, and WebSphere; JIRA; and Linux and Unix Shell Scripting.
