Job Description:
JPM has been the market leading provider of Treasury services for over 30 years and has been instrumental in the innovation & growth of new products that deliver value to our clients with strong returns to the firm.  The Canada Sr Product Manager will be responsible for managing the product activities of the full Canadian product suite including Payables, Receivables, and other core Treasury Services including product development and product maintenance.  Additionally, this individual will establish the product pricing structure, ensure the integration of systems and operations that interface with product strategy and develop and analyze sales and marketing programs.   
Key responsibilities of this position are to deliver product capabilities to the marketplace to meet/exceed customer expectations and to generate incremental net income from new and existing clients.   As a product manager, the individual will be accountable for leading a cross-functional team and all end-to-end activities of the product management and development process, including product strategy, business model/P&L management, customer experience, new product development/product roadmap, sales strategy, internal partner relationships, competitive landscape and marketing.  The individual will work closely with key Product Managers, Project Management Office, Sales/Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, Service and Implementations across the bank.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in product management / development and/or Product subject matter expertise
  • In-depth knowledge in creating product strategies and managing a P&L
  • Solid understanding of the payments industry and strong electronic products experience
  • Strong project management and ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects/workstreams simultaneously
  • Laser focus in understanding and articulating customer needs and turning needs into business requirements
  • Ability to develop product strategy and marketing programs to support the sales effort
  • Work incredibly well with cross-functional partners and in a matrix environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
  • Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills internally and externally
  • Ability to define and develop new product offerings
  • Ability to maintain close working relationship with sales, customer service and product delivery managers to ensure customer satisfaction and product profitability
  • Graduate degree (or similar experience) preferred
