Spectrum Core team are looking for a talented C# Desktop UI developer with WPF experience to join the development team.  The successful candidate:

  • Will be part of the high-caliber development team that oversees a product used by thousands people in the firm
  • Must be curious, hardworking and detail-oriented, motivated by complex analytical problems
  • Has to demonstrate interest in all things technology, and have ability to communicate with opinionated technologists across the company
  • Should be able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals
  • Strong Software Development and Architecture skills and experience with C# for Desktop UI, WPF and related technologies
  • Strong grasp of modern software development concepts such as SOLID principals


  • Experience with Messaging middleware
  • Experience with Web technologies is a plus
    • HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript, etc
    • React or Angular
    • Webpack, node, npm, yarn and others
  • Strong automated testing discipline
  • Continuous Integration with Jenkins or similar products
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Experience supporting globally available application
  • Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) and assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, Zoomtext), and proven track record of incorporating into your day-to-day work, is a plus but not required.
  • Fearlessness and embrace of all things Computer Science and awareness of wide-range of technologies
    • Scripting  - PowerShell and Python, others
    • Database
    • Understanding of security concerns online and off
