In this position, you will assist a team of Compliance Officers responsible for delivering the compliance program to the Chief Investment Office and Corporate Treasury ("TCIO") based in New York.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures designed to address relevant banking and securities regulations, corporate policies and market practices related to the Firm's capital raising, funding, liquidity, and asset-liability management activities.
  • Preparation and coordination of delivery of information regarding the TCIO Compliance program both within Compliance and the businesses.
  • Assist in preparation, development and administration of training programs regarding the Firm's policies and procedures.
  • Assist on projects within the Compliance Department, as well as the TCIO businesses, addressing specific regulatory developments and initiatives.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience at a financial institution/bank-holding company in a legal or compliance role, regulatory institution (SEC, CFTC, OCC or FED) or law firm.
  • BA/BS degree or a similar required.
  • JD preferred, but not required.
  • Experience advising on regulations related to bank funding, investment and liquidity management activities.
  • Candidate must be able to develop and build relationships at all levels within the business being supported, as well as colleagues in Compliance and other control functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions based on sound judgment, and utilize the network of product and regulatory specialists as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, solid judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex regulatory and business issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Excellent document and training presentation required
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
