Role Description
The Regulatory Control AML/Tax Analyst will be a member of the global AIS Regulatory Team and will be responsible for analyzing investor documentation for compliance with relevant AML and FATCA/CRS requirements. The role requires keen analytical skills and attention to detail, the ability to understand investor subscription documents in addition to differing investor AML and tax documentation.
As a newly created role within AIS, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a fast growing team.
Position – AML/Tax Analyst – Regulatory Control - Alternative Investment Services
  • Onboarding:  perform analysis on investor documentation, preparing risk profile, ensuring compliance with AML and FATCA/CRS requirements in accordance with the established work practices, policies and procedures  
  • Renewals: conduct reviews on a periodic basis, assessing existing investor documentation, mitigating any gaps via independent research, online tools or via the investor directly
  • Respond to investors/clients on related queries
  • Participation in investor/client calls
  • MI provision to internal/external stakeholders
  • Research and analysis into AML and other regulatory topics executing sound judgement  to assist in devising the product offering
  • Implement/enhance procedures as required by regulation or policy
  • Support delivery of the regulatory roadmap
  • Understanding of alternative funds investor types across multiple jurisdictions
  • Adhere to JPMorgan's established processes and procedures
  • Strive to modify / iterate processes and flows to continually improve accuracy, reduce redundancy, and mitigate risk
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree required (business or legal discipline preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably with prior experience in alternative funds
  • Experience working with MS Office
  • ManTra/Investran experience an advantage
  • Working knowledge of AML and Sanctions regulations along with FATCA and CRS

Position Demands
  • Extended hours may be required nearing deadlines during final stages of key project initiatives (including weekends)
  • Shift coverage may be necessary in delivering certain key projects
  • May require travel
