Centralized Transaction Operations (CTO), which is aligned under Consumer and Community Banking, CCB, provides a wide range of global operational support and services for retail, commercial, treasury, asset wealth management and credit card customers. Image Services delivers archival load, retrieval, capture, and fulfillment solutions to internal employees in various Lines of Business as well as some external customers. The Business Analysis and Reporting Analyst II position within the Business Analytics & Reporting team is responsible for data gathering, analysis, and reporting. The individual will work directly with the Quality Program completing testing, communicating results, and delivering reporting.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-reliant problem solver with proven experience working with large, complex applications and effectively translating Quality Program analysis results as inputs into scorecards, executive reporting, and business related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer all aspects of SharePoint (including permissions and content oversight)
  • Prepares a broad variety of reports and provides data and management information for internal management and executive audiences
  • Write effective and accurate procedures and program documentation
  • Complete metrics and deliverables
  • Develop a deep understanding of operations systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending enhancements to improve data quality
  • Responsible for small-to-medium scale projects and delivers presentations with minimal supervision
  • At least 4 years experience in an analyst role with some SharePoint development experience.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills; Knows how to identify the strengths and shortcomings of a solution or process and has the ability to seek alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and managing complex, connected workbooks/sheets, manipulating/segmenting data (e.g., pivot tables, filtering), constructing macros, and generating complex formulas and calculations.
  • Advanced-level ability expected in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA, and PowerPoint), SQL query development and Share Point for team collaboration and project artifacts. Must be able to analyze data/numbers and tell a story via charts and graphs with the results.
  • Proficient to Expert level with one or more Business Intelligence toolsets and database platforms: Tableau, SAS, Teradata, Data Warehouse (ICDW), Hyperion, Business Objects, Alteryx, etc.
  • Proficient to Expert level in writing Business Requirements and utilizing the Project Life Cycle to drive projects.
  • Experience in data analysis, developing trend and comparison reporting.
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources.  Attention to detail a must with focus on executive quality presentation.
  • Driving process improvement utilizing automation to enhance reporting and gain efficiencies.
  • Follow leads to gather additional information, considering historical information to identify patterns and trends.
  • Self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision. Demonstrates initiative and accountability.
  • Demonstrates the ability to build relationships and leverages influencing skills to drive toward a collective outcome.
  • Service Oriented; Shows initiative through problem identification, ownership and resolution.
  • Flexible; Can manage multiple priorities and can adapt to changing priorities to meet business needs; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Strong sense of urgency.
