This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

       Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

       Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes

       Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

       Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

      KDB+/Q experience, with relevant experience in financial services

       Proficient in Unix/Linux and OS level tools

       Experience delivering big data solutions, with equities and F&O knowledge very beneficial

       Experience working with time-series databases, including development of scalable real-time data processing systems

       Experience with market data platforms

 Daily Responsibilities:

           The position is for an experienced software developer that exhibits strong technical skills and experience in Q/Kdb+ on the Linux platform.

           This person will contribute to the development of pre-trade, intraday and post-trade analytical products.

           The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development and enhancement of these products; will ensure consistent functional and technical design; will deliver clear, concise technical design documentation and code; will be involved in the full project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and production rollout.
