Commercial Banking – Treasury Services Foreign Exchange Payment Product Manager
The successful applicant will have an understanding of cross currency payments, transaction banking and foreign exchange principles, be able to analyze client transaction flows, the overall client relationship to determine the best and most appropriate solutions for our Commercial Bank clients. Products supported will primarily be Treasury Services cross currency payables and receivables products as well as collaboration with the foreign exchange sales desk on solutions. The individual selected will require the ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple regions, functional areas and across lines of business.
Key responsibilities will focus Market enablement through analysis & partnership with Sales, Product development and management of pricing processes. The role requires close partnership with other lines of business as well as across the Commercial Bank organization in the US & internationally.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales globally & regionally to manage relationship reviews as well as sales support
    • Analyze client flow & provide solutions to help our clients optimize their cash management and treasury structures
    • Work with clients and sales to understand their current issues related to Cross currency flows, payments and ecommerce
  • Market enablement
    • Work with partners to develop and maintain Commercial Bank specific product collaterals & training
  • Product Management, Strategy & Product Development  
    • Understand the Transaction Services business and how clients use and benefit from our products
    • Analyze industry trends with Cross currency payments and cash management, risk and regulatory developments and competitive landscape
    • Represent the Commercial Bank in the product development & rollout process. Manage product risk and control processes
    • Understand the end to end product process flows and handoffs to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Pricing Management
    • Assist in ensuring client deals follow appropriate pricing guidelines, principles and approval processes and key stakeholders across all impacted business are engaged 
  • Develop key relationships across the Commercial Bank, regionally and globally, to allow for coordinated execution across multiple geographies
The final officer title and job grade is at the discretion of the firm and will be discussed at the time of offer.  It may be different than what is listed on the requisition based on candidate experience level. 
  • 5+ years experience in foreign exchange, preferably product management, advisory, sales, product/solution delivery, or consulting. International banking experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange and cross currency payment solutions, including technical, market, processing and regional nuances
  • Demonstrated client facing experience with internal and external clients
  • The ability to interact with Sales and clients to extract product needs and opportunities for enhancement coupled with the innovative insight to translate those needs into scalable innovative product solutions and opportunities
  • Experience with the commercialization of new products; support readiness, marketing collateral, pilots
  • Understanding of product and project management principles, tools and practices
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including business case creation
  • Methodical, with exemplary attention to detail
  • Synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of audiences
  • Understands the risk/cost/revenue dynamics of the Treasury services cross currency payment business and can articulate the implications of changes
  • Understanding of relevant risk, compliance and regulatory issues and exposure
  • Understanding of the Commercial Bank client base and infrastructure, and interdependencies across other LOBs
