The Party and Account team within the Technology division of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is responsible for the strategic buildout of a serviced based framework and integrating with the AWM Enterprise Data Platform.  In this role you work in an exciting fast paced environment following agile development practice in close collaboration with other colleagues in multiple locations.  
Responsibilities Include:
  • Development of key business features / enhancements
  • Refactoring and clean code 
  • Code reviews and mentoring 
  • Emergent design and architecture 
  • Automated unit and integration testing 
  • Continuous integration, build and automated deployment 
  • Author documentation to support engineering, including business requirements, product requirements, flow charts and wireframes.
  • Critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive technology project success end-to-end, leveraging Agile methodologies, values, and processes 
  • Expertise using SCRUM or a related agile discipline 
  • Document business requirements in specification by example mode in the form of feature files 
  • Focus on working with your end users to deliver business value early 
  • Iterative and incremental delivery 
You have demonstrated 5-7 years of experience with: 
  • Java, Tomcat, J2EE, JavaScript, Restful Web services. 
  • Open source web technologies like Apache, Tomcat, Spring, Mybatis, ORM frameworks etc.
  • HTML 5 / XML / Backbone JS / Angular JS 
  • Build tools like Jenkins / Maven / Nexus 
  • Source Code management techniques / tools for software management. Strong Knowledge of release management. 
  • Good understanding of Hadoop eco system and Hadoop tools like Sqoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Spark, storm, Kafka, etc. 
  • System integration, service and messaging including technologies
  • Data and modeling technologies including traditional and non-traditional stores 
  • Scalable mission-critical systems with high levels of availability 
  • SQL – Experience writing and debugging stored procedures and scripts 
  • Leverages his/her design skills to imagine, illustrate, and help realize a compelling functional interface 
  • Test tools like JUnit, Cucumber and Selenium. Having project execution expertise using BDD is a plus. 
  • UNIX shell and shell scripting. Knowledge on Python programming is nice to have. 
  • Performance analysis and tuning across system boundaries 
  • Strong SME level knowledge of Investment Banking domain particularly Asset Wealth Management 
  • Performance analysis and tuning across system boundaries
