Job Description:

The Risk Reporting Solutions and Strategy team, a group within the CFO Risk organization, supports both tactical and strategic projects that impact the broad Risk organization.  The group is looking to fill a Vice President level role with a Business Analyst Lead.  The person will be responsible for finding effective solutions to business problems, along with preparing analysis on data gaps, and leading cross-functional teams on the delivery of projects which impact coverage, methodology, reporting, middle office, and finance functions.  The majority of the current project work is centered around the delivery of Firmwide Risk Reporting onto strategic infrastructure.



  • Business Analysis lead for projects ranging from strategic solutions to ad-hoc enhancements.
  • Own analysis of requirements for end to end solution delivery.
  • Support of project documentation generation across the project life cycle.
  • Identification of potential system/process enhancements.
  • Assisting in the development of new tools or projects to enhance our risk reporting, data aggregation, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Partnering with technologists and application owners across Firmwide LOB’s for strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Partnering with risk business groups across Firmwide LOB’s, such as operational risk, credit coverage and market risk product control to understand requirements and identify solutions.



      • 7-10 years of Business Analysis or Project Management Experience within Financial Services
      • Experience in Risk process preferred
      • Strong end to end controls background
      • Knowledge of Risk Products, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Credit Risk, Volcker Risk, or Risk Sensitivities a plus
      • Strong data analytics and process improvement skills. Experience using BI Tools is a preference, such as Tableau and QlikView.
      • Strong Project Leader skills, ability to gain consensus among team and drive initiatives to completion effectively
      • Excellent communication abilities, both written and oral.
      • Comfortable with conveying complex requests to Technology, Operations groups and senior managers in various risk disciplines
      • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
      • Strong analytical skills in interpretations of data and identification of anomalies. 
      • Comfortable leading others including other BA's
      • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
      • Ability to identify, research, and escalate critical issues.
      • Results-oriented / delivery focused; ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
      • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
