CT teams are aligned with corporate partners’ evolving technology needs and the firm’s ever expanding technology controls agenda.

Legal Technology supports legal functions covering Matter Management, Legal Holds, Financial Management, Document & Knowledge Management, and Billing.
In the role of Applications Developer for Legal Technology, you will work in a collaborative team of software professionals and be responsible The RR Engineer will be part of a horizontal function that is responsible for partnering with Operate/L2 to ensure that the practices, processes and tools are in place to ensure stability and functionality of each application. This team will ensure the highest level of quality and success in support of technical issues, DR testing, and hardware/software updates.
You will be working directly with operate teams and other development team members in the development and support of innovative technology solutions including user interfaces, middle-tier and server-side components, and will need to ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management, and security policies.
As a Rapid Response Team Engineer for our technology teams, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain complex applications and also maintain vendor applications from development and risk perspective.
In this role, you will:
Collaboratively work with Legal Technology application developers to understand application intricacies
Partners with Operate and Application Development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
Responsible for fixes of Level 3 issues where possible; partners with Application Development team to manage more difficult issues that RRT cannot resolve
Works with Release Management to ensure fixes are implemented following the proper processes
Address any reported issues in monitoring of major applications and monitor performance issues as well.
Provide metrics and reporting on ticket/issues and time to resolve
Engaged and informed in new demand/project work
Participate in production readiness review sessions
Support of 3rd party applications in a maintain state.
Maintain Risk classifications and application breaks for maintain state applications.
Manage the vendor relationship as well as troubleshoot any production issues
Support any SOW activity
Qualities for a successful candidate:
Required Skills -
5+ years of design and development experience in Microsoft Technologies - .NET /C++
5+ years of experience with SQL databases – SQL Server
Excellent knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC.
Good knowledge of ETL processes and SSIS.
Solid understanding of object oriented design methodologies
Demonstrated experience with producing efficient and maintainable code following Agile SDLC
Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with a relational database
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
A proven team lead with excellent communications skills
Attention to detail and time-management skills
Is endlessly curious about applications and application stability.
Takes a measure twice, cut once approach to application changes
Experience with configuration management and performance tools.
Readiness to automate processes in various languages
Prior experience in IT Risk from an application perspective.
