Business Overview:  Global Asset Servicing
The Global Asset Servicing Utility provides centralized asset servicing solutions for multiple products, businesses and client segments across the wholesale bank.  Key services include the proactive management of Corporate Actions, Income, Taxation, Proxy Voting and Client Enquiries/Reporting.
The Asset Servicing hub in Buenos Aires is being established to support our clients in the Western Hemisphere in the same time zone, working along side the other hub locations in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Transaction processing across a variety of markets 
  • Production of daily management reporting and daily reconciliations
  • Agree claims and ensure payments are made in a timely manner
  • Daily liaising with Middle Offices, Global Custodians and market counterparties
  • Investigation and resolution of all complex queries
  • Daily liaising with middle offices with regards to P&L.
  • Be proactive in seeking alternative, efficient and cost effective methods to improve current processes.
  • Participation in specification, design, user testing and implementation of new business requirements.
  • Receive and process information from various vendor sources
  • Perform and review daily reconciliations
  • Process Foreign Exchange (F/X) transactions relating to payments
Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1+ years of working experience preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and transactions
  • Strong risk and control awareness and ability to implement mitigating controls
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Exceptional problem / issue resolution skills
  • Relationship building skills, strong ability to develop partnerships to drive results
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
  • Client Orientation.
