The Global Supplier Services team brings Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, and Accounts Payable into one team.  This group of more than 800 employees manages the source to pay processes for JPMorgan Chase and provides a governance model which includes strong risk management practices, enhanced performance monitoring, greater scale and strong client engagement.
The mission is to efficiently and collaboratively deliver value to JPMC from external suppliers in a manner that mitigates Risk, enhances Performance, and manages Expense by driving the end to end Source to Pay Lifecycle.
 
The Global Supplier Services Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Reporting (BIRA) team provides support for these internal stakeholders, including JPMC LOBs and Corporate Functions with data analytics and reporting across all data streams.
 
As a Business Project Manager on the GSS BIRA team, you will be responsible for delivery of single large projects or manage a portfolio of medium or smaller projects. The position will also be responsible for supporting the BIRA team’s Program and Business Management activities.  Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivery of individual or a portfolio of project including directing activities, monitoring details, setting priorities and managing issues and risks.   Escalation where appropriate.
  • Indirect staff management for all resources assigned to projects
  • Resource planning and sourcing from the business
  • Collaboration, Coordination and management of IT involvement
  • Ensuring appropriate communication to and involvement of stakeholders including appropriate levels of sign off.  Preparation and facilitation of update / decision making meetings.
  • Building of strong relationships across GSS and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring documentation and reporting standards are met and that appropriate scope management and change control is in place
  • Development and management of Project plans and Status Reports as well as other GSS PMO deliverables for assigned portfolio and assists with deliverables for other BIRA initiatives
  • Development of Business Proposals and Business case preparation to support assigned projects and to assist with other BIRA initiatives
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience Required:
  • Graduate degree
  • Strong project management experience, either in managing single projects or a portfolio of projects. Previous involvement and exposure to IT related projects will be an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
  • Ability to develop presentation materials and deliver presentations to different audiences and levels of management in an effective manner
  • Experience of influencing at a senior level
  • Strong MS Office skills (advanced PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project,  Access, Visio)
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong proficiency in verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Minimum of 5-8 years combined total experience in Project Management, Business Analyst
  • Previous Reporting, and Data Analysis roles (Preference with experience in either PM or BA AND Data Analysis or Reporting) will be an advantage
  • Understanding and ability to apply SDLC and Agile methodologies when needed
  • Independent thinker, logical thought process to perform detailed analysis and make sound decisions
  • Understanding of accounting and financial functions and processes
  • Primarily EMEA shifts, with occasional US EST hours during critical business days of the month
