Job Description:
    The Project Management Office is responsibility for the delivery of all business critical projects across CIB Operations. The team will work closely with all business areas and technology to plan, resource, execute, monitor and report on all projects that impact the CIB business.
    As a Business analyst/Project manager you will be responsible for delivery of individual projects or as a team member on major projects. They will also liaise with the end-users to determine business requirements, work closely with CIB Technology, where relevant,  to ensure their development is in line with requirements, conduct and co-ordinate user acceptance testing, document procedures, provide training to the users, and co-ordinate the implementation of the system or process. On smaller projects the position will also be responsible for Project Management including business justification / business case preparation, project planning, status reporting, risk and issue management, stakeholder management and post implementation review including confirmation that the key success metrics have been delivered.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Managing projects or sub-projects, including planning, documentation of requirements, progress monitoring, test planning and execution and implementation.
    • Completion of business justification / business case / change request documentation in line with corporate policies.
    • Planning co-ordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing, including documentation for management and audit purposes.
    • Identify process improvements and key efficiency saves within CIB Operations, developing a new process, completing any relevant documentation for technology builds.
    • Whilst the role has no direct staff management responsibilities, you will have to work closely with other business units within the department. This will involve influencing skills and good presentation skills.
  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following characteristics: 
  • Well motivated, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic;
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines to meet on a regular basis;
  • Ability to prioritize and deal effectively with multiple tasks
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
  • Ability to develop good relationships among the middle office members, front office, clients, operations, and others key functions within the organization;
  • Middle office/operational experience preferred but not essential;
  • Numeric person with a good eye for detail;
  • JSDA 1st and 2nd class Sales Representative license holders;
  • Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes) essential, Excel Macro and MS Access (preferred)
