The Technology Demand Management role is accountable for the capture and management of the IT demand pipeline and acts as the point of contact to capture, structure, align and plan demand across multiple platforms.  


The role of the Technology Demand Management team is to establish the capacity vs. the requested demand on any given scrum team. Provides a clear picture of the requested demand for any given release, allows for strategic decisions on the requested demand and works to  align dependencies to a common delivery timeline creating an efficient scrum delivery.


Responsibilities also include organizing and facilitating a number of demand meetings to ensure that demand requests follow a consistent pattern of scoping and estimation. Develop regular communication channels to align planned activities for all demand with internal and/or external providers and drive continuous Scrum Intake maturity.

  • Must have 7-10 years experience in a Project Management, Program Management or Demand Management role
  • Must have 4+ years of working Agile & Waterfall methods
  • Must be able to lead and facilitate meetings with multiple teams
  • Must be able to communicate well with executive leadership and cross LOB resources
  • Develops plans and manages interdependencies demand between development teams and business units
  • Critical Thinking (anticipates problems and establishes methods to mitigate project/program risks)
  • Must have experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have the ability to deal with complexity and manage relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
