Job Description:

As a Middle Office Analyst for the Derivative Market, you will provide trading support for the Derivatives Desk.  Your responsibilties include capturing and conciliating product operations, completion of multiple daily reconciliations and regulatory reporting and partnering with upstream and downstream teams to resolve potential discrepancies and issues.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Trade Capture of non STP products.
  • Daily completion of multiple reconciliations to ensure trade validity and completeness
  • Interaction with Brokers and clients around trade query’s and resolution
  • Interaction with FO, MO, BO, Finance, P/L and Management
  • Understanding operational issues and partnering with applicable teams to find resolutions.
  • Daily completion trade Regulatory controls across multiple jurisdictions.
  • An understanding of the regulatory requirements across the applicable products including CFTC, EMIR, MTC, SEF.
  • Involvement with the improvement and development of  processes and applications

Skills & Experience

  • A working knowledge or theoretical understanding of multiple products, including (IRS, FX, FRA’s, Futures) – from an operational, valuation and risk perspective.
  • An interest or appreciation of Emerging Markets and how they operate.
  • Strong communication and be able to work closely with other team members  .
  • Ability to deal with number of different parties and priorities simultaneously and prioritise appropriately.
  • Experience of Kapital and Markitwire (preferable but not a necessity).
  • Experience and advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Access.
