J.P.Morgan in the Nordics has more than 100 employees organised in 3 lines of business (Treasury and Securities Services, Investment Banking and Asset Management). The Human Resources department is shared between all line of businesses and support functions and it is designed to provide a full range of HR services.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to get engaged in key local and regional strategic projects and effectively manage the change environment in collaboration with local leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver HR services for managers and employees.
  • Advise managers and employees on general queries and resources available relating to HR policies, procedures, benefits, and other local legislative requirements.
  • Resolve manager and employee issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high quality client experience.
  • Partner with Line of Business HR Business Partners and managers (if applicable) on the annual performance and compensation cycle.
  • In partnership with Line of Business Partners and Employee Relations, work through the resolution of employee relations cases such as grievances, disciplinary actions and performance monitoring. Determine the correct process and strategy to minimize any financial, legal and reputational risk to the company.
  • Advise managers on the process for managing employee leaves such as sickness, maternity/paternity leave and unpaid leave.  Support employees returning to work and manage flexible work arrangement requests.
  • Assist with the leaver process for voluntary and involuntary leavers. Where applicable provide guidance on recommendations for involuntary terminations (including Workforce Reductions).
  • Execute the HR operation agenda including monthly payroll preparation, compensation and benefits,  employee lifecycle support, on/offboarding.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place and managed effectively for all critical HR processes.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure that managers and clients are appropriately informed.
  • Manage Vendors within the HR Third Parties Management Oversight framework
  • Prepare reports and analyse data as required, including headcount, people scorecards, diversity metrics, demographics, attrition and ad hoc reporting.
  • Work on core projects and support key HR initiatives such as the employee opinion survey.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders within the global and regional HR/HRSD teams and non-HR partners.
  • Facilitate change and seize opportunities to introduce improvements to current practices and procedures.
  • Deliver creative solutions to fully utilise expertise within the firm.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills on all HR disciplines including recruitment, talent, leadership development, performance management, organization design, compensation and diversity.
  • Oriented to problem solving, ability to analyse complex situations and proposed alternative solutions.
  • Knowledge of Swedish labour regulation & laws. Norway, Finland & Denmark legal and regulatory knowledge will be an asset. 
  • Knowledge in HR operation function and/or experience/background in Operations:  i.e. operating procedures, operating model design, strategy
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Other languages will be an asset.
  • Ability to analyse and manipulate data – possessing good excel skills.
  • Ability to network internally and externally.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage high volumes.
  • Experience in cross country work/projects.
