Our business
Depositary Services provide depositary services for Collective Investment Schemes on behalf of a large number of Investment Management groups across Europe, supporting over 2,300 funds with assets in excess of $1.6 trillion. The department consists of a number of Trustee teams in locations throughout Europe.  Our teams discharge the fiduciary responsibility of oversight in respect of the Funds managed by our Clients, and ensure that the funds are administered in accordance with the constitutional documents and the relevant regulations.  In addition we support our clients in discharging their responsibilities and protect the interest of the investors.  JPMorgan Depositary & Fiduciary Services is the market leader across Europe and has been operating for over 20 years and as a consequence is in a strong position to meet the requirements of the different regulators throughout Europe.
The opportunity is to join the Danish Depositary Services Team working for the Depositary Manager.
Key responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Depositary Manager with analysis and review of client data including review of the funds' constitutional documentation
  • Oversee and conduct the daily Depositary duties in accordance with regulation and fund rules
  • Perform oversight of breach and error reports and assisting with continuous client risk assessment.
  • Daily interaction with clients via phone and mail
  • Preparation of other ad hoc support materials/ presentations
The role requires an enquiring mind, perseverance and the ability to handle complex information. The candidate needs to be able to write well and to be able to deal confidently with people at all levels in the organization and with clients.
Essential skills  
  • University degree in finance, economics or similar with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills and user of Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Some knowledge or interests of Regulated Funds (UCITS/AIFMD), Fund Accounting and NAV calculations would be a plus
  • Interest in the Regulated Fund and Fund Management industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
