Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is a worldwide organization charged with delivering technology infrastructure - end user, compute, data, transport, instrumentation and facilities - to all lines of business in all regions of the world in JPMorgan Chase.


Global Technology Infrastructure’s (GTI) Global Services Operations (GSO) group is planning to launch a multi-year effort that will use software to transform the group from a traditional infrastructure support organization to one based on the principles of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This is aimed at significantly enhancing client experience while the organization delivers dramatic improvements in system stability and reliability.


As Transformation Delivery lead working in Global Service Operations Transformation Team, you will be part of a team of subject matter experts with diverse skills to drive organizational transformation across various areas like opportunity identification, communication, stake holder engagement, culture and organization, development practices, risk & controls, finance & funding. Your role will focus on driving SRE adoption and maturity across the global GSO organization – vertically across GSO towers and horizontally across key hub locations globally. This role relies on empowering tower and hub representatives with the right structure and information so they can drive transformation in a self-organized way. This is an enabler role, where you will be expected to anticipate and prevent potential impediments and work with the tower managers and leads to prevent and resolve them quickly.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop a strong governance frame work that is aimed at tracking progress and pro-actively removing impediments across the GSO organizations and across global hub locations.
  • Partner with GSO tower managers and SRE champions to continuously identify, prioritize and track
  • SRE opportunities and communicate success stories and impediments on a regular basis
  • Identify good examples and practices across the organization and proactively share lessons learnt with the global teams
  • Build strong examples in each tower and hub that other teams can replicate and learn from.
  • Host regular meetings with tower and hub leads to identify next steps and action items and help them address impediments in a proactive manner.
  • Host regular management updates to provide consolidated updates on key success stories, decisions, impediments that need help from various stake holder teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with engineering, operations teams, and line of business development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and adoption across all teams. 


  • 10-15 years of strong technical delivery skills working across diverse technology platforms and subject matter experts
  • Agile and learning mindset with strong team building, teamwork skills to drive teams towards desired and agreed outcomes
  • “Roll up sleeves” attitude to solve business problems and remove impediments
  • High level of proficiency analyzing complex business problems, identifying problem statements and return on investment based on risk, toil, stability, reliability, scalability etc.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process, technology issues and come up with solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas - Server, Network, Database, Storage, Messaging, Business Applications and Infrastructure support, Private Cloud, Multimedia, Mainframe, Enterprise desktop and thin client solutions.
