This capability supports an outstanding network of relationships with corporate and institutional clients that lie at the heart of our Investment Banking franchise. The three main teams include:


Industry Teams: working as part of a team on projects involving various financial products but focus on servicing clients within an industry. Our investment bankers help clients identify opportunities and develop strategies related to mergers & acquisitions, and capital structuring and raising, as well as commodity trading and hedging sometimes. Groups include: Consumer, Retail and Healthcare, Diversified Industrials, Financial Institutions Group, Energy, Real Estate and Technology, Media and Telecom.


Product Teams: Product teams execute transactions across a variety of industries but specialize in a particular financial instrument or product. Groups include:  Equity Capital and Derivative Markets, Debt Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions.


Korea Team: The successful applicant is likely to have existing relationships with leading corporations, investors and financial institutions based on transaction execution experiences in M&A, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, and on top of such execution experience, ability to help originate business from clients based on relationships will be highly beneficial in the applicant’s near-term development as a senior investment banker.



  • Designing and implementing comprehensive M&A, debt and equity financing strategies for potential clients.
  • Supporting a deal or project team with analysis and research.
  • Building and using financial models.
  • Performing financial valuations utilising discounted cash flow, leveraged buy-out and multiple based analyses.
  • Preparing presentation materials and participating in deal pitches.
  • Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions.
  • Supporting due diligence & negotiations during transactions.
  • Marketing the full range of services to prospective and established clients.
  • Coordinating with product and industry groups to identify and exploit business opportunities
  • Exceptional tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline. 



  • Exceptional tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline. 
  • At least 5-6 year of Corporate Finance experience in financial services.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving ability. 
  • Strong accounting, finance and business writing skills. 
  • An ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritise tasks.
  • An ability to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team.
  • The ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of individuals and groups. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
