This team works on Investigating and resolving queries pertaining to Funds transfer with various inquiry types and also process financial adjustments for client holding accounts with JP Morgan EMEA branches. Team extensively works on SWIFT messages. The Individual’s primary function is to investigate and resolve inquiries on EMEA Clearing received from financial institutions, corporate customers, and internal areas of Chase or Chase customer service officers on behalf of our customers. She/he is responsible for the timely resolution of inquiries relating to their assigned products and customers with 100% quality. The candidate will report to a Team Leader of ECCO.
Key Responsibilities would include:-
  • Ensure investigations and transactions are processed in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Identify generic processing problems so that the parties involved can be educated on how to avoid future occurrences.
  • Initiate Projects and be part of Projects identified in the department with focus towards Client satisfaction, improvement in productivity, revenue generation etc.
  • Undertake various functions within the team and ensure that all relevant deadlines and stipulated controls are met.
  • Understand EMEA Wire Transfer - Multicurrency Clearing concepts & product details Eager to learn and excel in performance.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all system applications pertaining to the job as well as keeping a level of proficiency on system enhancements.
  • Communicate written and oral expression in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate professional work habits in the areas of attendance and punctuality.
  • Identify generic processing problems so that the parties involved can be educated on how to avoid future occurrences.
  • To participate in the rotation of functions within the group ensuring no degradation to work flows.
  • Flexible with shift timings and working overtime when requested.
  • Comply by JPM values.
  • Graduate with Minimum 2 years – International Payment Processing Operations or Fresh Graduates with good academic record.
  • Experience and a working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations. 2 years of experience in a back office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank would be beneficial.
  • Working Knowledge of SWIFT & international payment conventions & practices is preferable.
  • Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally or externally and at all levels and should be a team player.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • An acute client focus.
  • Strong PC and analytical skills. 
  • Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
