Job Description:
This role will be part of the Consumer and Business Banking Product Management Group.  As Head of Deposit Pricing and Product Analytics you will lead a team of 20+ managing two key functions within Consumer and Business Banking.  First, this role sets and executes interest rate strategy for $640B+ of deposit balances across checking, savings and time deposits.  This includes both real time decision making and long term planning to help the firm properly manage interest rate and liquidity risk positioning.  Secondly, this role is responsible for leading product analytics across 50MM+ deposit accounts and 20MM+ active debit cards.  Analyses in this space range from control based analytics to ensure our products work the way we tell our customers they work to strategic based projects to help reposition existing products / release new products.  This role blends team leadership, long term planning, collaboration across multiple partner groups and the ability to quickly and accurately provide answers to senior leaders of the firm including Operating Committee members.  This role reports to the Head of Product Management for Consumer and Business Banking.
  • Lead a team of 20+ ranging from associate to director level
  • Set and execute deposit pricing strategy for $640B+ deposit portfolio
  • Support analytical requests for 50MM+ deposits accounts and $7B in annual non-interest revenue
  • Present strategy and findings to senior JPMC management including Operating Committee Members
  • Collaborate heavily across Product, Finance, Treasury, Marketing and partners in other lines of business
  • Represent Chase with third party business intelligence partners
  • 7 years or more in fields including analytics, finance, treasury management, product or similar
  • Experience leading and developing teams with varying levels of technical capability and experience
  • Demonstrated ability developing and communicating presentation materials for senior management
  • Ability to independently take vague business problems and develop tactical analytical solutions to solve those problems
  • Experience managing and performing large scale analytical projects leveraging SQL, SAS, Python, R or similar (preferred)
  • Experience with A/B market testing (preferred)
  • Experience with price elasticity, cost benefit analysis and regression modeling (preferred)
