Duties: Lead product development, product strategy, program management, and data analysis of big data products. Define new product and solution opportunities, such as brainstorming, pressure test feasibility, and market assessment for commercialization opportunities. Responsible for end-to-end ownership of the development of big data products, as well as development of detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and funding and financial models. Engage with senior external clients to assess the feasibility and usefulness of a given product or solution. Plan and execute implementation of product build, including day-to-day responsibility of program management and project team, upward communication, and status reporting. Conduct deep structure interviews and market research with potential clients of big data products to identify needs, key business problems, and potential solutions. Define analytics and work with Data Scientists to execute analytics, clearly outlining analytics and required outputs through algorithms. Support the analytics development process by directing Data Scientists to create insights and direct Application Developers to create a consumable product. Execute on prototype analytics in SQL/R based on the algorithms defined with Data Scientists. Engage with Infrastructure, Application Development, and Production teams on content discussions, including application design and infrastructure setup. Drive decision making at JPMC by organizing and facilitating executive leadership meetings, and providing key insights, documents, reports, and materials for meetings with senior management.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as an Associate or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with: management analysis; conducting data analysis and translating data into insights and recommendations prepared for executive-level consumption; conducting statistical-business analysis for the retail and financial services industries, including clustering, segmentation, profiling, and checking for representativeness of findings; performing analytics product development for the financial services industry based on consumer-oriented datasets with at least 10mm records or customers; performing data mining; SQL coding; statistical modeling; systems architecture design and software development, including translating business requirements into technical specifications; consumer lending operations; and digital marketing operations.
