Sales Technology is hiring a senior Executive Director to lead our regional Asia Pacific team.  In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for Sales organization.  You will establish strong business relationships, lead the evaluation of the current state of our products and technology offerings, determine our strategy, and ensure global alignment.  Evangelizing our technology roadmap to ensure our Sales force is highly productive and efficient is critical to success. Additionally, you will be the primary point for the technology and product organizations for Markets Execution.  This will require external client outreach as needed and a detailed understanding of the products across Sales (Equity & FICC), Trading, Operations, JPM Single Dealer Platform and Execution tools. The successful candidate will be influential leader for our organization in the APAC region and ensure we have the right talent, organizational focus and deliver successfully for our clients.
  • As the primary point of contact, establish strong working relationships with all levels of the Sales organization in APAC – especially, the ED & MD levels.
  • Lead the evaluation of our Sales product(s) and technology current state, gaps, and partner to determine our future roadmap.  Evangelize in the region about future Sales and Markets Execution technology roadmaps
  • Product idea generation – determine new opportunities for the Markets Execution as a group and specifically with the Sales daily workflow.
  • Ensure the technology teams are organized for local deliveries and branch technology.  Coordination with various technology teams within the organization e.g. FX and Rates E-trading, pricing, JPMM, Sales technology, Ops technology and Rates transaction management
  • Ensure we hire and maintain the right talent in the region.
  • Escalation point person for all technology and product concerns.
  • As required, lead external client outreach for tech implementations, Fintech opportunities, and assisting Sales with regional client conversations.
  • Regional administration and people management for both product and technology organizations
  • Deep knowledge/experience of at least one functional area of markets (sales, trading, pricing/structuring, risk management, etc.).  FICC preferred.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in a STEM discipline
  • Experience shaping and leading product and technology roadmaps.  Experience and desire to lead analysis of current state of sales workflows and define the future target state.
  • Ability to run a large regionally diverse organization
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work with and influence across teams
  • Confident in communicating with senior sales stakeholders, product, engineering and production
