Who we are

The Banking Production Management team is responsible for the reliability and resiliency of the Banking application stack.  The J.P. Morgan Banking business, consisting of Investment Banking, Treasury Services and Corporate Banking, is one of the largest wholesale banking client franchises the world.  We serve clients, including corporations, governments, states, municipalities, healthcare organizations, education institutions, banks and investors.  The team interacts directly with Business Operations, Product and Client Services plus our partners in Application Development and Global Infrastructure teams.  Banking applications securely process trillions of payments every day along with providing real time Liquidity and Accounting functions. We also focus on automation and tooling, to eliminate unnecessary manual effort and to enhance our monitoring capabilities.

  • Providing first-line support to ensure all cyber security, identify and access management requirements are met in support of mission-critical payment, liquidity, cash, check processing and accounting applications and micro services
  • Liaising with global cyber security, identify and access management units in order to maintain full compliance with firm's requirements, policies, and standards
  • Ownership of cyber security, identify and access management production incidents, root cause analysis, and on-going maintenance (including access uplift) working closely with other teams in order to resolve any access issue
  • Developing specialist knowledge in cyber security, identity and access management, sharing that knowledge with team members and global partners
  • Pro-actively improving the quality of systems and service supporting cyber security, identity and access management and increase business value
  • Upholding and championing cyber security, identify and access management policies, procedures and standards
  • Managing projects through to completion, adhering to project-management best-practices
  • Bringing a Dev Ops mind-set to cyber security, identity and access management deliverables, building, evolving and operating rapidly-changing resilient systems at scale

Who are we hiring?

  • You have working knowledge of financial services, ideally payment processing
  • You have working knowledge of cybersecurity, identify and access management practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
  • You are able to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence
  • You have working experience with Agile methodology including Scrum and Kanban
  • You have working knowledge with at least one data analytics and business intelligence tool such as advanced Excel,  Tableau, or QlikView
  • You are proficient working with a variety of platforms, including UNIX/Linux
  • You are familiar with writing SQL queries and understand how relational databases work
  • You are capable of using Perl or Python to automate processes or have a development background
  • You have excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate with various audiences, including end users, managers, and members of the IT team
  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • You are able to of multi-task, balance multiple priorities, and keep up with project scope changes
  • You understand the incredibly demanding nature of financial services, or you are eager to experience it
  • You have a thirst for knowledge  and want to expand your technical and business knowledge
  • You are able to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • You can manage demanding clients constantly evolving needs
  • You can think quickly and logically under pressure, understand and fix problems in a fast-paced environment
  • You are able to understand and invoke the principles of ITIL and can use them to effectively protect and govern our production environment
