Duties: Source, screen, and execute investments in infrastructure assets within sectors such as transportation, regulated utilities, and contracted businesses. Provide daily support for global assets within the investment portfolio. Develop and execute business plans around individual assets during and subsequent to acquisition. Screen investment opportunities by performing due diligence and working with third-party advisors. Assist with fund raising and marketing efforts by drafting and presenting investment memorandums to internal investment committees and external clients. Travel domestically/internationally 25%.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Portfolio Manager, or related occupation in the finance industry. Experience may be gained pre- or post-Bachelor's. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience as an Investment Analyst, Portfolio Manager, or related occupation in the finance industry. Experience may be gained pre- or post-Bachelor's.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: financial modeling; negotiating transactions; negotiating financing documents for acquisitions of infrastructure projects; performing financial and technical due diligence; supporting multiple transaction execution projects involving both internal and external working teams covering renewable and conventional power, aviation, maritime infrastructure, contracted energy, or other types of companies in related sectors; working with management teams and boards of portfolio companies; and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as acquisitions or business development, finance, tax, or legal across various markets and geographies. This position requires domestic/international travel 25%.
