In January of 2018, we announced that we plan to expand our branch network into 15-20 new U.S. markets and open up to 400 new branches during the next 5 years.  These new branches will directly employee about 3,000 people in places such as Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia and many others.  The Consumer Bank and Wealth Management Program Manager will lead a cross functional team responsible for planning and executing our entry into the new markets.   You will drive action and mobilize teams to implement initiatives that assure seamless execution.  You will engage with a vast array of stakeholders to support projects and solutions implementation, assure strong controls & communications, weave multiple team/functions together towards those goals, and keep us focused on the things that matter most.  You will work with colleagues at all levels across Consumer Banking and One Chase to reach our collective customer and employee experience goals and manage and track reporting for senior leadership.  This role requires flexibility, strong communications skills, team building, and an in-depth knowledge of large-scale program management and execution.
  • Reports to the Head of Market Expansion for CB-CWM and leads a matrixed team of cross functional professionals to ensure coordinated, seamless delivery of successful efforts
  • Driving large, complex, and highly visible projects that have significant financial and reputational risk
  • Managing and directing overall project team activities and monitoring progress, including project health, capacity planning, and internal process improvement activity
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive team to identify and document best practices
  • Preparing and delivering executive level presentations and communicating effectively with senior management via multiple channels
  • Validate accuracy of data and develop and distribute standard reports
  • Coordinate and lead effective meetings and follow-ups
  • 10+ years proven project management capabilities with a strong analytical bias; ability to flex between details and the bigger picture
  • Broad base of general management and leadership skills; including demonstrated success leading teams through significant change
  • Exceptional presentation skills; significant experience developing and delivering compelling Power Point presentations that “tell a story” and enable decisions to be made
  • Innovative thinker able to drive future engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other areas of a fast paced, complex environment
  • Strong communication skills, including engaging group facilitation, presentations, and 1:1; always with a high attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Ability to act in a calm, organized, energetic manner  where shifting priorities and demands with tight timelines and deadlines
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required (advanced degree preferred)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
