As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

The WM Digital Technology team is responsible for building, supporting and enhancing the Private Bank’s global digital client delivery channels including web and mobile applications. The team seeks a core Java developer who will be responsible for developing medium to large scale technology projects focused on delivering the best experience for our clients. You will be a part of a dynamic technology team that builds and deploys solutions for the JP Morgan Private Bank across the globe, interact with product owners, application developers, and business users at all levels of the organization.
The role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:
· Design and implement scalable, resilient and secure digital platform capabilities across Asset Management services, utilizing core Java technologies and with focus on cloud readiness.
· Robust delivery of code into the production environment with zero tolerance for post implementation issues
· Contribute to quality improvement, code reviews, code/architecture standards, code reuse etc.
· Create automated unit tests using a Test Driven Development approach
· Testing: Unit, SIT & UAT planning and management.
· Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, REST, Jersey; strong core Java and SQL development.
· Knowledge of release management.
· Working knowledge with at least one of the widely used Relation Databases - Oracle, MsSQL, DB2
· Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in business, operations, operate etc.
· Some experience of providing production support in a Level2/Level3 capacity
· Desirable skills: Angular, HTML, Java-script
