                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          The Technology team at our GSCs service all Lines of Business and Enterprise Technology in helping build and operate innovative industry leading solutions. The breadth of capabilities within the Technology team at the GSC enables it to support the firm in leading edge areas such as Digital, Big data analytics, Robotics & Machine Learning.

  • Must have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • 9+ years of relevant technical experience required
Technical Skills:
  • Unix (Solaris / Linux) skills including Unix Shell Scripting - ksh, Perl
  • Database skills, preferably Sybase, including SQL and Stored Procedures
  • Understanding of Scheduling tools like Control M and Autosys.
  • Experience in working in a support capacity in a time critical environment, ideally with experience or exposure of working in a financial institution.
  • Enthusiastic, Self driven individual who is always looking for improvements. 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic Finance and Investment banking knowledge
Professional Skills/ Responsibility:  
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and/or minimum of 6 years of experience with Unix/Sybase/Sql based applications.
  •  9+ years of relevant technical experience required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work as part of the Production Management organization to deliver Equities business objectives.
  •  Working hand-in-hand with Middle Office to support Trade booking, P&L and Back office settlement issues from an application perspective.
  • Understanding and adherence to local regulatory/compliance guidelines and best practices.
  • Able to manage production incidents and follow up on problem actions.
  • Understand and adheres to Equities Change management procedures.
  • Participate in key projects for expansion of the business to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Participates in out-of-hours support and testing.
  • Participates in Disaster Recovery, SABRE, exchange and Street-wide resiliency activities in support of applications and the business.
  • Ready to work in shifts starting as early as 6AM.
  • Must be able to work extra hours as needed.
  • Must be a team player, organized, and able to concentrate on repetitive tasks.
