External Reporting Strategy & Analytics Support Analyst
Supports the Team on key aspects of the quarterly external reporting process, including the following:
  • Producing and distributing LOB views of key schedules/reports to support LOB analytical reviews, variance analysis, and attestations
  • Assisting with the tracking and review of required attestations, including escalation of any issues or qualifications highlighted
  • Preparing and distributing the external reporting scorecards, which track the status of external reporting production processes and related open items
  • Supporting the manual data submission process which includes the distribution and receipt of manual data submission templates; creation and distribution of related metrics
  • Documentation support in the development and maintenance of project plans, and process flows
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts/enhancements around external reporting processes/tools
  • Provide strong support to the team in the Microsoft environment
This role requires strong operational skills to support multiple diverse processes within defined timelines while maintaining procedural and control discipline. The role provides exposure to various LOBs and Functions and provides an opportunity for the individual to partner with Financial Close, SEC Reporting, Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis and Line of Business/functional Controller teams.
The candidate for this position must have the following qualifications and skill set to perform this role:
  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business/Finance related field
  • Experience and knowledge of core Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).  Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio and SharePoint, considered a plus.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and keep all parties apprised of developments
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good communication abilities, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in teams and to interface with senior management and staff
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; including strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Availability to support Quarter-end close schedules which may required extended hours and weekends
